Hello and welcome to Scott Greens Golf Club, home of “A Swing for Life Golf Academy”.
My name is Corey McAlarney. I am a Club Fitter and Instructor for A swing For Life Golf Academy.
Over the past couple of years I have been living in Miami Florida, working for the #1 Golf School in the country, the JIM McLEAN GOLF SCHOOL. It is located at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa, Home of the famous “Blue Monster” and Site of the PGA tour’s “CA Championship”.
While working for Jim McLean, I have had the opportunity to study and learn from some of the top Instructors and Club Fitters in the world. I have become a certified Mclean Instructor along with certifications in club fitting from Titliest, Taylor Made and Callaway. My most recent accomplishment was being named MIZUNO'S "CLUB FITTER OF THE YEAR" from the Southern Region.
I work with many of the Top Jr., Amateur and Collegiate players in the country. I am the Club Fitter and Club Builder for Barry University’s Boys Golf Team and Florida International University’s Women’s Golf Team.
I have worked with and/or currently working with Tour Players including:
Erik Compton, Kyle Reifers and Marisa Baena.
I am continuously studying the golf swing and golf club specifications to better educate my students on how to become better players. I take great pride in what I do. I hope you will see that.

I promise you that not only will you leave with the exact specifications of clubs for you, but also be educated on how and why clubs are built with very different characteristics and why they perform the way they do.
