Fitting
I would like to first point out that all of my fittings are done OUTDOORS (weather permitting)! You can’t beat the beauty of ball flight, ball flight laws and the great outdoors. I use PGA Tour techniques learned from some of the top club fitters, club builders, and shaft designers in the country, including Juan Gomez (Director of Club Fitting, Jim McLean Golf Schools), Dick Weiss (Inventor, SST Pure Shaft), and Kim Braly (Designed the Proj X Shaft, KB shaft and brought frequency matching shafts into the golf world), just to name a few. I incorporate the use of the Zelocity Launch monitor technology that tracks all relative information pertaining to finding the perfect fit, such as; club head speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, power transfer ratio % (PTR), carry distance and total distance.

A Club fitting with me will consist of Static and Dynamic measurements. No guessing!
Corey

First Stage: PLAYER EVALUATION - We will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of your game and review any physical limitations you might have. Measurements – specs such as length, frequency(Flex), swing weight, loft & lie, total weight, and grip profile – of your current set of clubs will be taken to get a better understanding of how your clubs are built and why your clubs are performing the way they do.

Second Stage: TEST YOUR CURRENT EQUIPMENT - We will evaluate your current equipment with launch monitor to see how they perform. At this stage we are tracking crucial data that will help us determine what we can improve on.

Third Stage: TEST CLUBS - Based on the data found in stage 2, we will begin the testing process of different club head styles and shaft profiles. At the end of this stage - which is the longest stage - we will determine proper length, loft and lie angle, shaft flex, kick point of shaft, weight of shaft, swing weight and grip style that best suites your swing characteristics.

Final Stage: REVIEW AND DISCUSS SESSION - You will be given the full spec sheet of all recommendations. You will also be provided with a complete print out of the data that was captured on the launch monitor for your reference. During this session, please ask any questions that you might have.
